It's finally here! LUCCA by Sarah Brianne is LIVE!

Lucca was made the underboss, being what nightmares are made of.

Chloe was scarred by her past, learning too young that nightmares are real.

He has waited long enough to claim her soul, but he must take it from the devil first.

Her soul might have been better off claimed by the devil.

The only way to save her from her past is to delve into his.

The world as she knows it will come crashing down.

I’m the fucking boogieman.

I’m just a fucking freak.

Hey! My name is Sarah Brianne and after living for twenty-two years the characters in my head told me enough was enough and I have finally put pen to paper (or is it finger to keyboard?) to tell their stories. Since I was a little girl I have watched every chick flick I could get my hands on, then when I became older I discovered a whole new world of romance novels. To me there is nothing better then a tale of true love and those are the stories that have inspired me to write. Like everything else in my life I have put my own spin on two lovers destined to be together.

Aerial Ethereal #2
Publication Date: January 31, 2017
Genres: New Adult, Contemporary, Romance

“Don’t have a best friend that’s a girl” — this was the advice from my older cousin. I didn’t take it. Because he followed with, “friends don’t f*ck friends. And you’ll want to f*ck her.”

It was terrible advice.

My cousin should’ve told me that being best friends with Baylee Wright — since she was twelve — would be the best and worst decision of my life.

He should have told me to protect her from what was coming.

He should have told me that when a darkness crawled towards us, there’d be no safety net.

Now I’ve signed back on to the same Vegas acrobatic show as Baylee, working together for the first time in years. And she tells me that she’s having trouble in a certain “area” of her life — because of our past.

“You can help me fix it,” she says.

And then she hands me a list.

Good Boy by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy is LIVE!

GOOD BOY GR LINK

Hosting her brother’s wedding for an MVP guest list is the challenge of Jess Canning’s life. Already the family screw-up, she can’t afford to fail. And nobody (nobody!) can learn of the colossal mistake she made with the best man during a weak moment last spring. It was wrong, and there will not be a repeat. Absolutely not. Even if he is the sexiest thing on two legs.

Blake Riley sees the wedding as fate’s gift to him. Jess is the maid of honor and he’s the best man? Let the games begin. So what if he’s facing a little (fine, a lot) of resistance? He just needs to convince the stubborn blonde that he’s really a good boy with a bad rap. Luckily, every professional hockey player knows that you’ve got to make an effort if you want to score.

But Jess has more pressing issues to deal with than sexy-times with a giant man-child. Such as: Will the ceremony start on time, even though someone got grandma drunk? Does glitter ever belong at a wedding? And is it wrong to murder the best man?

Caution: May cause accidental aspiration of tea or coffee. Do not read in a public place where loud laughter is inappropriate. Contains hot but hilarious hockey players, puppy cuddling and a snarky pair of underwear

BELLA'S REVIEW: 5 STARS!!

Cheezus! This book was amazing!

Him and Us are hands down two of my top reads. Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy know how to bring humor, romance and heat to their stories. When I read Us and got a glimpse of Blake and Jessie together, I needed more.

Good Boy can be read as a standalone, but I definitely recommend starting with Him/Us - why would you want to miss out on Jaime and Wes's story????

What I love about this book:
~ The writing. Whether their writing individually or together, Sarina and Elle write a story that is easy to read, pulls at my heart and makes me laugh and fall in love. They know the key ingredients to make a good book and this one had everything I look for in a great read.

~ Blake. CHEEZUS. I love this character. He comes across as a total goofball - and he is - he's loud, funny and a total hornball. But he's also loyal and loving and romantic. I love his family - Mama Riley especially.

~ Jess. What a great heroine. She's going back to school for yet another career change and doesn't want to disappoint her family. I was rooting for her from the start. She tries to resist Blake's charms...but you know how that goes.

~ Friends turned lovers. These two both have committment/relationship issues. Blake was burned in the past and Jess is in school - no time for a new relationship. But they are drawn together and I LOVE how much chemistry they have.

~ Jaime and Wes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God I love these two guys. I love that they were a part of this book and I got to see them married and happy. Did I mention you should start with Him and Us?? Please, even if you don't like m/m books, give it a try.

~ The feels. I laughed, I lusted, I got a bit misty eyed and I swooned. I was rooting for these two to end up together. Reading this book put a goofy smile on my face almost the entire time.

Bottom line: READ THIS BOOK!!!!!

Highly recommend!

I’ve read several books by Sarina Bowen and several books by Elle Kennedy. Both authors write fantastic stories and I’ve loved everything I’ve read by them. Good Boy is the first book I’ve read by them both. I know, I know… I must get to Him/Us. Trust me! After reading this, I am desperate to read Jamie and Wesley’s full story! This is one of those books that had me smiling the entire time. With a hero like Blake, it’s almost impossible not to keep a huge grin on your face. He has that effect on people.

The story starts with Jess Canning, wedding planner and maid of honor for her brother Jamie’s wedding. Jamie is marrying Wesley, and Wesley’s best man is none other than Blake Riley. NHL player and the guy Jess hooked up with but would rather forget. Jess and Blake’s relationship is hilarious from the very start. You know they both like each other, but Blake is such a goof and Jess is resistant to being with him again in any capacity.

To look at us, you’d almost think that Jess didn’t like me. But this is just how we are together. Fiery, baby.

When Jess moves to Toronto to start nursing school, she knows she has to buckle down and get serious. She’s 26 and has had a long battle trying to decide what to do with her life. She’s finally decided this is it. This is her calling. She’s glad to have Jamie and Wes near by, but she can’t have distractions while she’s in school. But with Jamie and Wes comes Blake Riley. The biggest distraction known to man. Blake and Jess drive each other crazy, but their chemistry is off the charts. I love their banter and seeing them together kept a huge crazy grin on my face.

These two end up doing the friends-with-benefits thing, but it’s so obvious there is so much more there… they both just need to figure it out. Blake is one of those characters that might annoy certain readers, but I thought he was fantastic. I love guys like him. He has great family values, a heart of gold, and seriously made me laugh out loud so many times. Jess started out just okay for me, but honestly her experience with nursing school made me like her so much more. I developed a deep respect for her. As a nurse, I know how challenging it can be and kudos to anyone who puts their heart and soul into it like she did.

Overall, this story was fun, sexy and very entertaining. I didn’t want to put the book down and I had such a great time reading it. It wasn’t all laughs, there was just enough emotion to make me a happy reader. I look forward to the next book in this series, and can’t wait to go back and read Wes and Jamie’s story!

If you’ve read Tia Louise’s Dirty Players series, you know the body guard to the royals that is Logan Hunt. If you haven’t read that series, I recommend you do. Even though this can very much be read as a standalone, I just love those books! After reading A Player for a Princess, I was dying for Logan’s story. He needed a HEA and I hoped he would find a woman worthy of his greatness. Well, the truth is, he already did. Years ago. Yep- you guessed it- this is a second chance romance. And it’s a fantastic one at that. There is love, action, and suspense and I ate up every second.

He said I was the strong one, a survivor, but he has no idea all I’ve had to do to survive since I saw him last.

Survivor. If I had one word to describe Kass, that is the word I would use. She is a bad ass super tough heroine, but she also has a great heart. She would do anything for the people she loves, and she’s not been dealt an easy hand. I adored Kass. Logan Hunt is one of those characters you love and root for. I’m so happy he had a love interest like Kass. I loved their history. Their present was complicated, but I had hope they could figure everything out and be together. They were both more than deserving of a happy ever after.

Dirty Dealers is a true page turner. Once I started, I didn’t want to stop. I’m so glad I had a block of time to just read and could read it cover to cover, because it kept me completely enthralled. Here lately I haven’t been super into suspense reads or dark romance, but this one hooked me. I had such a connection to the characters and I loved the direction the story took and the way it ended! If you’re looking for a great second chance romance with some action, angst and steam- pick this one up!

CHRISTY'S 5 STAR REVIEW:
   photo Mrs. Lockwood_zpskccilisg.png

I’ve read about all of KI Lynn’s books, and I have to say, Becoming Mrs. Lockwood is one of my favorites. Though no one can top my Nathan Thorne, Weston Lockwood is pretty incredible. This was a sweet, sexy and swoony read that is getting a full 5 stars from me!

Wren Bradford is on fall break and goes to Vegas with her mom… During the trip, all Wren’s mom wants to do is gamble, which isn’t much fun for Wren seeing as she’s only 18. So she spends a lot of time at the hotel’s Starbucks drinking coffee and reading. She has a chance meeting with a handsome stranger who asks to spend the day with her. Since Wren is going a little stir-crazy, site seeing seems perfect. That is how she meets Weston Lockwood. Weston is a hollywood producer, but Wren doesn’t know that. The two of them really hit it off. That night, after dinner and a few bottles of champagne… well, it’s Vegas. I’m sure you can guess what happens…

Wren’s life is turned completely upside down as she tries to make the best of the situation she and Weston are in. There is a spark there, and they want to explore it before calling it quits. Wren is thrown into LA when she’s used to a small town outside of Indianapolis. She’s away from her friends, family, and going to a fancy private school. Things are completely different for her. I loved Wren’s character. She faced her challenges head on, and in this crazy situation, she was so relatable.

Weston Lockwood embodied everything I love in a hero. He wasn’t perfect, but I don’t love my heroes perfect. The imperfections and growth sometimes make the man. I love the connection he had with Wren, how much he loved her and how protective he was of her.
“That’s what she does to me. All the damn time. I can barely breathe without her—she’s become my life force.”

   photo Mrs. Lockwood-2_zpsqvdjbkkc.png

If you haven’t figured it out yet, this is a bit of a forbidden love story. Wren is an 18 year old high school senior, and Weston is a 31 year old man. I didn’t mind the age gap one bit. Especially seeing as how mature Wren was. They were a great match, and sometimes age is just a number.

When I started this book and looked at the length, I thought OMG this book will take me forever to read. It’s twice as long as most of my normal books. For some reason, though- this book read so fast. I was engaged 100% of the time and didn’t want to put it down. I don’t care about a book being long, as long as it doesn’t drag and holds my attention. Becoming Mrs. Lockwood definitely did that.

K.I. Lynn’s writing is fantastic as always. She writes the best heroes and her stories are always captivating, steamy and have just the right amount of angst. Not only were the H/h great, but there were also a lot of amazing side characters. If you’re looking for a sexy, fairy-tale Cinderella type story, this is one I highly recommend!

She spent her life in the arts, everything from music to painting and ceramics, then to writing. It would turn out to be the one thing she was really passionate about.

Since she began posting stories online, she’s garnered acclaim for her diverse stories and hard hitting writing style. Two stories and characters are never the same, her brain moving through different ideas faster than she can write them down as it also plots its quest for world domination…or cheese.
