Genres: New Adult, Contemporary, Romance

“Don’t have a best friend that’s a girl” — this was the advice from my older cousin. I didn’t take it. Because he followed with, “friends don’t f*ck friends. And you’ll want to f*ck her.”

It was terrible advice.

My cousin should’ve told me that being best friends with Baylee Wright — since she was twelve — would be the best and worst decision of my life.

He should have told me to protect her from what was coming.

He should have told me that when a darkness crawled towards us, there’d be no safety net.

Now I’ve signed back on to the same Vegas acrobatic show as Baylee, working together for the first time in years. And she tells me that she’s having trouble in a certain “area” of her life — because of our past.

“You can help me fix it,” she says.

And then she hands me a list.

Bella's Review: 10,000 STARS!!!!

Amazing, heart-wrenching read.
10,000 stars!

I'm a HUGE fan of the Addicted Series by Krista & Becca Ritchie. I fell in love with all of the characters from that series so hard that I missed them once I was done reading the last book. This series is very different from that one, as it is about members of the circus, but it is no less captivating.

Krista and Becca are so skilled at character development. I fall in love with not only the main characters, but also all of the side characters. They create a fictional family with ties so strong, it makes me wish they were my family. I want to dive into the book and be a part of their world.

Infini is the second book of the series, but it can be read as a standalone. It CAN, but I'm not sure why would would want to miss Amour Amour - so my advice is to start there.

What I love about this book:
~Dual POV. We get BOTH Luka and Baylee's POV and this makes it 10000 times more enjoyable to me. I loved being in Luka's head just as much as I loved being in Baylee's head, maybe even more.

~ Forbidden aspect. Holy cow. This ups the ante for me. Made my heart race, my eyes bulge out of my head and my stomach drop. I could not stop turning the pages.

~ ANGST. The twins turn on the angst in this book, but trust me, it is a good kind.

~ Writing. I have no idea how two humans can write a book so seamlessly, but they do it every time. The writing sucks me in and I forget that I'm reading. I'm just living in the story.

~ Trigger warnings. There are trigger warnings in the beginning of the book and I made some assumptions. But I was wrong. There were some JAW dropping moments here. They bring up some tough subjects and I love it when authors do this. They make me uncomfortable and challenge my normal way of thinking. But they also touch my heart and soul while doing so.

~Luka. Luka absolutely stole my heart. I fell so hard for this character. His anguish, his love for his siblings, his torment, his passion. Unf. I love Luka Katova - probably more than Nik and that's saying something.

~Characters you love to hate. I want Geoffrey to die. Seriously - I never realized how blood thirsty I could be. But man, I'd love to kick this guy repeatedly in his fun parts.

~ Katova's. I LOVE ALL OF THE KATOVA's!!!!! I NEED a book for Timo and John (NEED). And Katya. And Sergei. Maybe even Peter. PLEASE GIVE US MORE Katova's!!!!!

Bottom line: This book gave me all of the feels. I know I'm not doing it any justice with my review.
But this book was freaking amazing. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Circus is family.
